Item Description: Up for auction is a 3D resin printed 1/25 scale 1970 Cuda Funny Car body as shown , made using ABS-like UV cured liquid resin. As with most 3D printed large surfaces, this has a matte finish and a grainy/layered feel as shown so prep work is required for a great finish, but the effort is well worth it to have a body not easily found otherwise. The layered or ringing finish is predominantly seen on the top surfaces (hood, roof, deck) due to the printed layer thickness set to .05mm (.0019") which provides the best print quality at an affordable price. This body was printed to an overall length of 189.26mm, an overall width of 75.4mm and an overall height of 48.42mm, but please verify these dimensions to be acceptable as-is and will work for your particular project PRIOR to purchasing. 3D printed resin typically cures to a hard form which makes it more brittle to work with. I have started using the ABS-like resin to combat this, however care and patience should still be used when working with this material. Please research and understand 3D UV cured resin products to know exactly what to expect and the best ways to work with, prepare, assemble and paint it. These bodies are about as close as you can get to the Dunn and Reath cuda funny car. First time buyer of 3D print bodies. I know they are going to need cosmetic work done. Over all appearance looks good. Can't wait to work on these. They were packed well and priced very reasonable. Thank you!
