Includes Sanctum Iesu Christi Evangelium for the Gospels, Acta Apostolorum, Epistolae B. Pauli, the Catholic Epistles, and Apocalypsis B. Ioannis. The text is printed in an attractive early Roman type with ruled page frames, printed marginal references, and decorative woodcut initials. The layout and Jerome prefatory material resemble known Cologne Latin New Testament editions of the 1520s, including Johannes Soter printings, but this copy is not conclusively identified. The book is offered as an unidentified early Latin New Testament printing rather than as a firmly attributed edition. The surviving front board is attractively tooled leather with period-style blind decoration. The volume is small, measuring approximately 5 x 3 x 1.5 inches. Condition: Defective antiquarian copy.
