Offered Here is a vintage hand carved Shetani Makonde African wood sculpture. This is an intricately hand carved from one solid piece of dense heavy ebony or heartwood. This statue or sculpture measures 17" in height and weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces. A truly wonderful abstract grotesque bug eyed figure with an elongated half animal and human body. There is one natural age split in the wood at the base that could be pulled together and glued if you so desired. Please view and enlarge all photos to further aid in description.
