This volume includes the concluding portion of the work, with engraved illustrations, the Jugement de Paris, and Les Abeilles, the metamorphosis translated from Book IV of Virgil’s Georgics. The title is printed in red and black, and the book retains attractive marbled endpapers and red-stained page edges. Bound in period full calf with raised bands, gilt spine decoration, red title label, and volume label “IV.” Approx. 6.5 x 4 x 1 inches. Condition: Tome IV only, not a complete set.
