Description: It is an authentic engraved antique map approximately 158 years old, blank on reverse, with original handcoloring and three folds as issued. It is by Felix Ansart, from his Atlas Historique et Geographique Ancien Et Moderne, published in Paris, circa 1860, a facsimile copy of the title page is included for authenticity. A nice historical map for the scholar. Size: The map image measures approximately 12 1/2 x 17 inches (32x43cm) on a 15 1/2 by 19 inch page (40x48cm) with a margin all around, as seen in the main pic. Condition: It is in Good condition for its age with overall light tonal ageing on a buff color paper with a vertical and two horizontal folds and original handcoloring as issued. There is a repair on the top right edge restoring the margin with paper from the atlas, otherwise it is very clean map with strong color and an antique appearance that many desire, see the pics for more on condition.
