Description
This is one of a number of vintage tube radios that I have sold starting last Fall and Winter to happy enthusiasts. I will be selling more from this estate through the end of this year. They all were from the estate of a ham enthusiast who rebuilt communication receivers over the years along with many other tube type radios. This is a very nice and cute 1947 Sentinel factory white bakelite 5 tube AM radio. It is a small set about 8x 51/2 x 5 inches. It has its original knobs, back with built in loop antenna and white bakelite case with original paint. It appears to be in great shape with original knobs and other visible components. Bakelite cabinet has its finish in good shape considering it is 77 years old. It plays well with good volume on its built in antenna and AC power cord. I pulled the chassis on this set and as the photos show it has been rebuilt and speaker is in good condition. I have included a short video clip with the photos so you can hear the radio playing. I sell all these radios "as is" because of age, fragility and shipping but if you check my feedback you will see they all have arrived in good shape and as advertised.
