UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1949 TRANSILLUMINATOR FOR CERVIX & MASTOID, ANTIQUE BOEHM NATIONAL SURGICAL LIGHT BULB. STILL IN THE ORIGINAL BOX IT WAS MAILED IN POSTMARK JUNE 21 1949. this came from a doctors estate whom practiced from the 1920's to the 1980's he was also a medic in the army during WWII and an ob gyn. the bulb is in an envelope marked manufactured by national e. m. co. fnr. elmhurst, l. i., n.y. there is also an envelope that says 35 lamp for use on transilluminator for cervix & mastoid;- and on universal light when attached to brinkerhoff & anoscope;- also E.S.I. sigmoidoscope please see pictures for or ask questions for further details there is only one light bulb it is in good working order from looking at it under a loop the filament is still intact I don't believe it has ever been used. what a great display piece!!
