Leaving For A Pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, the Most Reverend Louis Abel Caillouet, auxiliary bishop of New Orleans, prepares to board a charter bus Sunday. Standing in line with Bishop Caillouet, the group's spiritual director, are other members of the ninth annual pilgrimage party. The main group left New Orleans Sunday for Laredo, Texas, where they will meet other pilgrims who drove private cars or flew into that city. A total of 65 persons will make the trip to Mexico City from Laredo, returning to New Orleans August 23. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 08-10-1959. Love this picture! I’m going to frame it and put it it my office. I’m so glad that this seller packaged this picture well! It was as described and when I sent was delivered I checked my box and the shipping delivery driver just jammed the package in there and the envelope was bent. When I opened it, nothing but a minor wave was in the corner. If it wasn’t for the sturdy packaging from the seller, it would have been ruined. I’m beyond satisfied with the price to be able to hold history!
