M'Caslin, chairman of the department of ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. - Refinemens in eye surgery which make the removal of cataracts a safer and much more successful operation were described in New Orleans today by a New York ophthalmologist. One of them, said Doctor Richard C. Troutman, is the use of an enzyme discovered five years ago by a Spanish eye doctor.
