Three vintage all original 1950's/1960's/1970's/1980's/1990's rare and hard to find mortar and pestle pharmacy pharmacist pharmaceutical sets from the estate of a Philadelphia College Of Pharmacy and Science professor. One 1990's 1990 heavy all brass (?) metal set with a 4 1/8" tall mortar and 5 3/8" long solid metal pestle. The pestle is stamped with "Schering". The mortar is embossed with raised graphics "Pharmacy Class, 1990, Secundum Artem, Rx" and stamped on the bottom "Schering Corp., Copyright 1990". The set is in very good to excellent condition. This was a promo promotional advertisement item given to students at the college. One 1950s/1960s functioning (not decorative) ceramic set with a 3 1/4" tall heavy thick mortar and 7 1/2" long heavy pestle. The bottom of the mortar is stamped in black with "A, Cooper Mortar 1, Pat. Pending". The pestle is unmarked. This is a real working functioning set used in labs laboratories. The set shows use wear with a chip on the mortar near the spout and displays beautifully with great patina. One 1950s 1959 blue delft and white china, ceramic or porcelain set with a 2" tall "RX" mortar stamped on the bottom "Delfts Holland Squibb 1959" with great delft blue designs on both sides. The 3" long pestle also has blue delft designs as pictured. The set is in excellent condition. This was a promo promotional item given to professors and students at the college by pharmaceutical companies. The three sets are very well-made and display beautifully. All 3 are in very good condition as pictured unless as noted . They group of 3 is sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. $23.00 USPS or FedEx postage.
