Installation 1.Attach filter top cap to storage tank valve on opening marked “IN”. 2.Attach hose and nozzle to filter opening marked “OUT”. 3.When installing the element and bowl, apply a coating of oil to each side of gasket. 4.These components should be hand tightened only.Over tightening of the filter bowl will result in difficulty in removal at a later date. 5.When assembly is complete, check for leaks.
