This is a rear Motor Support Or otherwise known as a Transmission Support Mount. Its for the 63/64 Model Galaxie or any Crusimatic fordomatic FMX Top Loader 3and 4 speed ,thru 70s.and is exactly what you want to put a FE engine into a 55-57 58-59 FEs use these.Makes setup work like factory direct bolt.The bottom of the support where it mounts on the Cross member (from center of hole to center is 6 3/8ths inches.) an of cource the bottom where it mounts to the transmission is 2 and 1/2 thick to slip on the trans with one bolt.
