Many diesel engines and most inboard gas boat engine alternator have this connection. It can also be working with tachometer sender or ECU of the car (pulse signal) Installation instructions: 1.Opening a hole in the panel (your cabin board and dashboard) with a diameter of 85mm,Insert meter into the hole,The panel corresponding to the instrument panel is marked with a convex table,and open a small notch in this location,To ensure that there is at least 85mm of the instrument panel at the back of the instrument. 2.After the instrument is mounted in the panel,Screw down with a fixed ring. 3.Connect the wire,the instrument housing is directly connected to the 12~24V power supply. 4.Insert wire harness,Firmly locked in the table. How to adjust the speed ratio? 1. Turn on the power supply first. 2. Press and hold the mode button for three seconds to enter the setting speed ratio mode. Then adjust the speed ratio of 1-300 according to your request. 3. After setting the data will be saved automatically. 4.If your sensor is installed on the flywheel plate, the speed ratio corresponds to the number of gears of the engine; If the speed signal comes from the W terminal, the speed ratio is equal to half the number of poles. 5.When the engine is idle, the rev counter will normally display 600-800 U.min, which means the transmission ratio is correct. If not, you can reduce or increase the gear ratio to check the speed difference.
when just one guage showed up i freaked. then the picture my buddy took made it look black. (it was chrome) then the shipping company lied and said the second package came yesterday at 11;44. i was there and out side . i was there TODAY when it was delivered. shipping in miami used to be dependable. anyhow apologies to the shipper. everything is here and as showed in the pics.
