ACE of ACES - WINGLEADER, World War II Air Combat + Player Aide Extras 10 plane cards (20 additional planes) 1988 - Nova Game Designs A game in the Ace of Aces series, Wingleader focuses on WWII fighter combat. 24 fighters are modeled in the game. The booklet game design allows this game to be highly portable, immediate play, and is easy to learn. The two booklets are paperbacks depicting the pilots view from the cockpit. There are 24 historic planes in the original game. Each plane is represented in a cardstock sheet which gives the plane's speed, gunnery damage, and the five throttle positions. Original Components: 1. Two 4-1/2" x 6" silver paperback gamebooks with blue printing on cover (one Axis and one Allied.) 2. One 8-1/2" x 11" sheet with the six steps for basic play. 3. Twelve 8-1/2" x 11" two-sided card stock Aircraft Cards (six blue allied and six green axis.) 4. Four different colored 5/8" diameter plastic discs. 5.
