This Royal Worcester Cantebury cup and saucer set from 1870 includes two cups and four saucers. Made of bone china, the set features a yellow color with an Art Deco style and a Cantebury pattern of blue urns. the dinner plates are 10.25” in diameter , .75 inches tall and weigh 1 lbs. 5.6 oz. Each. The items are signed by the artist on the bottom base. Lot consists of seven saucers. Reg. Number: 703134 - Handpainted. 14K gold. - CrownWare was introduced in 1867 as a heavy earthenware that was durable and suitable for table ware. It was the equivalent of oven-to-table ware today. - manufactured date of 1870 is based on the company’s letter and number system introduced in 1867. - these pieces are considered porcelain vs. China.
