Lincoln purchased the home in 1844 for $1500, making it the only home he ever owned. The house was occupied by the Lincoln family until they moved to Washington in 1861.

  1. Shipping was delayed. I believe this was due to the January 2026 snow storm. Packaging was in a thick protective envelope. Exactly as pictured and described. Mint condition for being a 43 year old postcard. My counter-offer was accepted and a fair price. Ebay was able to step in and assist with my inquiry of the delay in receiving. 5 STARS to Seller.
