Description
I appreciate the love for this piece, but if it doesn't sell by 8/8, it's going into my personal collection. : ) "Mother Tree" features a tan and brown solid concrete base and small branches/twigs. It represents the networks of trees some researchers believe communicate with (through underground fungi networks) and support one another in forests, with the biggest and oldest member being the "mother." Approximate dimensions: 3 x 3 x 10 inches Display this hefty piece (around 3 lbs.) on a shelf, windowsill, or mantel. Mortar/concrete has natural bubbles, indentations, and other beautiful imperfections from the curing process that give each piece it's singular personality. Nothing mass produced here: I create every item individually in my Colorado workshop! Note : Materials used in this artwork can break and be ingested. It's not intended for young children. The sculpture is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of art and the intricacies of abstract designs.
This stunning abstract concrete sculpture beautifully captures the essence of nature’s hidden connections. The solid base and delicate twigs symbolize the mysterious underground networks of trees, making it a thought-provoking art piece. Its earthy tones and substantial weight give it a grounded, organic feel—perfect for a shelf or mantel. A unique conversation starter that blends art and science!
