L. SMITH Signed Framed 8 x 10" Abstract Giclee Print RED SAIL Not Numbered APPROX MEASUREMENTS 8 x 10" print 10 x 12" Frame DESCRIPTION Red Sail is one of her sailboat prints depicting a running sailboat at sunset. Signed but not numbered About the Artist: L.Smith Studio Lauren Smith’s paintings evoke the light and dark blue rhythms of sea and sky, the hot colors of air and the darker shades of tropical nights. Her portraits sing a human song. People gaze from canvases, paused for a moment in their story, their eyes communicating what is personal about them. In the narrative space between the painted and the living, a connection is made. L. Smith looks at the physical and emotional landscapes of a tropical life and sees the intangibles—lush, narrative, moody, whimsical—and weaves these observations into her designs. She is out to intrigue you, entertain and delight. And while she’s at it, she invites you into her experience through your own imagination. Whether Lauren’s subject is expressed in thick, bold lines, palpating color fields, or a pale wash of soft colors, it is evident that she is a native of the land of wind and palms, a lover and an interpreter of the influence of endless sun on the landscape and the mind. Her feast of styles is born out of a creative intelligence that loves to be challenged. She has taught herself the craft of designing and producing theatrical backdrops, illustrating video games, developing and executing concepts for theme parks and murals. Her portfolio reflects the breadth and depth of her experience as an artist. CONDITION New in original wrapper. I love it! Im using them more for decor then potholders but I love that I can if I wanted. There was a tinie tiny stain on the ghost but nothing a gentle hand wash can't handle. Item is as pictured & they took care when packaging. Had an issue with the shipment (USPS error, NOT seller) & the seller responded with haste, was very kind, & helpful! They added a nice message along with the receipt. This is why I shop from small businesses, it's more personal! Would purchase from again, thank you ❤
