The canvas is stretched 1.5" around the sides of the wood bars and fastened on the back- no frame needed??. These prints are not ?canvas heat transfers?, but genuine giclee inkjet printing on true heavyweight high grade water resistant print canvas- not the flimsy polyester variety you find at the giant marts and chains (or from some of our online competitors for that matter). We use real wood beveled stretcher bar frames (not particle board), archival inks made to last over 200 years, and ½? wide heavy gauge staples for extra strength. The first one I received had a broken frame; I cannot begin to express my gratitude about not having to send that back to prove it. That is such a headache and hassle I was saved from; I would highly recommend this seller. Communication and service were a breeze; and it's absolutely beautiful; I love it. We couldn't decide between stary night or the great wave; either one seemed so cliche; and lo and behold we found a comprise for our living room wall which in some ways outshines it's parents!
Nice reproduction on canvas. Appreciate the acrylic brush strokes which adds texture to the piece. Nice fabric ribbon in the back covers the staples and protects the wall once hung. The piece arrived unharmed in a sturdy box. Communication with the seller lagged in the beginning, but they were very responsive once it got going. In my experience, the estimated delivery date was off by a week. Might be related to the holiday season. If you account for this, you should be fine.
This print is absolutely beautiful! I made the mistake of ordering it on paper canvas, not wood, & the seller was so kind & understanding-allowing me to rectify the situation.
