Note that SWORD OF ALDONES was rewritten and released in 1981 as Sharra's Exile. Note also that Bradley has signed the title page of THE SWORD OF ALDONES. Pictures shown are of the actual book. Printed 1962. Published by Ace Books Inc, New York. Standard size for the D-series Ace doubles (4 1/4 by 6 1/2). Illustrated cardstock covers (perfect bound) with white and yellow printing on blue and red spine. Condition: Covers show some wear: light rubbing and superficial scratches on both panels, some creases on both panels (only one crease running the full height of the book), outer corners are creased (none more than 1/2 inch in from the corner), glue wrinkling on spine, light rubbing on the spine corners. '9-17" stamping on one end of the book, near the spine. Penciled seller note (price) on the first cover page of both novels. Inked signature on the title page of SWORD OF ALDONES. Inner pages are tanning, as expected for this type of paper, all pages are supple and tight to the spine. No pages appear to be missing. No other writings or stampings within.
