Description
Due to higher heat temperature I will not be able to separate the flats anymore. Soil is packed in the flat, seeds are then spread evenly on the soil. Watered and grown in a controlled environment. The greenhouse does keep them under shade. The grower advertises them in a set of 100 seedlings. The seedlings all vary in size. Some are smaller than 1/16, the seedlings that most people are after are the ones larger than 1/16th. Those are ideal for grafting. CALIPER 1/33-1/16----40-80 seedlings maybe more 1/16-1/8------35+ 1/8-3/16-----???4-10 seedlings maybe more. HEIGHT 4-10" small seedlings 12-20" medium seedlings 24-30", 36" large seedlings The flats are in their beginning stage. I did have different flats with different size calipers but the older ones ran out. Typical flats that look more dense have more little trees. The ones that look less dense have more trees with a larger caliper.
