Acer palmatum ‘Noel’ is a new and rare variety of variegated Japanese Maple that was found by our friend John O’Brien at O’Brien Nursery in Granby, CT. This unique tree was a variegated sport on the popular Acer palmatum ‘Shindeshojo’. AUCTION NOT OPEN TO BIDDERS FROM CA, OR, WA, AK, or HI. Acer palmatum ‘Noel’ is a new and rare variety of variegated Japanese Maple that was found by our friend John O’Brien at O’Brien Nursery in Granby, CT. This unique tree was a variegated sport on the popular Acer palmatum ‘Shindeshojo’. Like it’s parent, ‘Noel’ leafs out a vibrant, almost neon scarlet in the spring. It then develops splashes of pink variegation on red leaves. The colors change for summer to be green leaves with cream and pink variegation. This is a very exciting and colorful new cultivar of Acer palmatum. Zones 5b-8. You are bidding on the actual tree that appears in the photographs . The tree for sale is a BIG 3 year grafted tree.
