It was selected by the Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery in Milan, Italy. This tree has a leaf shape and habit that is typical of the species, but the leaves have a bright golden color all spring and summer. Can handle full sun, but it does best with morning sun and filtered afternoon shade. In 10 years, it will form a small tree that is 8-10 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide.
