Antique 1920's Waterman Ideal 452 1/2 Sterling Silver Fountain Pen w/ Box Estate fresh antique Waterman Ideal No. 452 1/2 L.E.C. sterling silver fountain pen with original box in nice as-found condition. Solid 14K gold fine to medium semi-flex nib. Marked "STERLING" on cap, barrel, and clip. Capped length: 5.11", barrel diameter: 0.37" Barrel engraved with the initials "E.W.G" Includes original waterman clam-shell box. Box lid embossed "The Treasure Chest of To-day" Fresh out of a local estate. Nice as-found antique condition with light evidence of age and use. Barrel engraved with the initials "E.W.G". Some small dings around the bottom of the barrel. Nip appears to be slightly out of alignment. Pen is untested and will most likely require service prior to use. Box shows minor internal storage wear with broken Waterman's ribbon. Sold as-is / as-found. Images sell!
