Description

Beautiful Joseph Holdcroft pitcher made circa 1870, featuring game on both sides, along with ferns or leaves as further decoration. Rabbit and gamebirds are on one side, fox with gamebirds on the other. The number 6 or 9 is handwritten on the bottom, which measures 3" across. There are two chips - one on the spout and another at the bottom of a gamebirds. See photos.
