Matting is 8 x 6”. Edges are curled up, doesn’t lay flat. Matting is either a thick paper or a very thin cardboard (not corrugated). Small tack holes in the corners. Writing as pictured. Old! Wear commensurate to age, including, perhaps, stains, fading, minor rips, dings, fraying, old smells, and other imperfections, etc.
I value transparency with Ebay sellers - and this seller was 110% transparent about the condition of the item and what to expect as documented through photos and description. (A used and flawed but beautiful signed book). This was a d--n good value for the money. The seller was honest about the authenticity of the signature and the edition, the item arrived swiftly and was well packaged. I have no complaints and would buy from this person again. Very happy with watecolor; arrived as described. Only concern was lack of shipping & tracking communication. We bought it November 5th and it arrived December 2nd. After several weeks of checking, we notified Seller that Tracking was not showing that it had shipped; Seller checked into it and said it had gotten misplaced at the shippers.
