The plate features an exquisitely detailed, hand-painted motif of purple and white violets, soft green foliage, and delicate pastel background washing. The rim is elegantly finished with a classic brushed gold/gilt border. This piece is uniquely desirable as it features a clear artist's signature, "Martin", nestled near the top-center floral cluster, indicating it was hand-decorated by a skilled porcelain artist rather than mass-transferred.
