Antique Thomas Sevres Bavaria Hand Painted 6" Plate, Red Berries, Signed M. Roth. This antique Thomas "Sevres"-series hand-painted 6" plate with red berries and gold trim is a stunning piece of early 20th-century German pottery from Bavaria. The plate features a hand-painted design of pink and soft red berries on green foliage, signed by painter M. Roth. This antique Thomas "Sevres"-series hand-painted 6" plate with red berries and gold trim is a stunning piece of early 20th-century German pottery from Bavaria. The plate features a hand-painted design of pink and soft red berries on green foliage, signed by painter M. Roth. The mark on the back of the plate indicates it was made between 1909 and 1939 and was part of the "Sevres" series addition. Since 1908, the Porzellanfabrik Thomas was run as an independent subsidiary of Rosenthal Porzellanfabrik. The plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks and the paint is pristine. There are two tiny indentations on the plate from when it was manufactured (see last picture).
