Bachelor Button Seeds 200 Polka Dot Mix Flower Mixed Colors USA USPS 1st class Dwarf Cornflower ‘Polka Dot Mix’ is also known as bachelor button. Flowers come in a mix of blue, purple, pink, red and white, and plants grow to 24 inches tall. Suitable for beds and borders, flowers mixtures, and pollinator gardens. Attracts honey bees and wild bees. Flower petals are edible and can be sprinkled on salads, cottage cheese and desserts. SOWING: Sow seeds indoors in early spring or seed directly outdoors early through late spring. Can be planted late summer through fall in mild winter areas. Barely cover seeds with 1/8 inch fine soil. SPACING: Plant about 6 to 10 inches apart for best results. THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: Thin and transplant when seedling plants are 2 inches high. Transplant seedlings started indoors after they are well established and danger of serious frost has passed. GERMINATION: Approximately 10 to 14 days. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
