Bell Tower - San Gabriel Mission San Gabriel Valley, California This auction is for a nice undivided back postcard showing the Bell Tower at the San Gabriel Mission in California. The settlement was founded by Spaniards of the Spaniards of the Franciscan order on "The Feast of the Birth of Mary," September 8, 1771, as the fourth of what would become twenty-one Spanish missions in California. San Gabriel Arcángel was named after the Archangel Gabriel and often referred to as the "Godmother of the Pueblo of Los Angeles." This card is unposted . Condition: This card is in very good condition, has bright colors, and a sharp image. There is a crease of the upper and lower left hand corners. There is also a black ink dot right of the image. The "lines" appearance on the photo is not present on the card, it is a photograph variant. Please see photos for your own evaluation. Standard size postcard. This card is unused.
