VISITOR CENTER EXCLUSIVE - Hanging 384 Water Bottle Light! Charlie Harshbarger has been working at Blenko since 1979 and is the creative genius behind Blenko’s lighting and lamps for decades. He’s the one who thought of taking the classic Blenko 384 Water Bottle and transforming it into a Hanging Pendant Lamp! When I purchased these, Charlie was helping me put things on my table and proudly let me know that he was the one who made them. A whole was drilled in the bottom of the water bottle to make room for the light assembly and chain/cord attachment. The chain portion is 3 feet long. The total cord length is 15 feet long so you have plenty of cord to plug this up most anywhere. It’s great because it doesn’t take any special wiring, just put a hook in the ceiling and you’re ready to go. I have a few of these available with different water bottles. A few of these were made available at the warehouse sale. It’s really random as to what they may have available in the visitor center, if any at all, and especially with water bottles that are no longer being produced. This one is made from a WORMOOD water bottle. Here is the description of the bottle below. Blenko Limited Edition Wormwood 384 Water Bottle, Double Spout Pitcher Beautiful Wormword 384 Water Bottle. This bottle was briefly available online in First Quality, but sold out in under an hour, and at the Blenko Visitors Center in limited numbers. The bottle is an Absinthe wash - whenever Blenko transitions furnaces from one color to another, they *wash* the furnace with Crystal glass to get all of the color out of the furnace. Absinthe being washed with Crystal resulted in this acid green bottle. It reminds me A LOT of Vaseline glass in appearance (but it does not glow under UV). It's kind of hard to capture the full color in pictures- the green comes across stronger in person than it does in the photos. Absinthe was a limited color, so there will not be any more of these! It is etched Blenko 2024 on the bottom. The only other 384 Water Bottle Blenko used Absinthe for was the Lotus bottle they made for 2025 Water Bottle Week.
