Description
This is for a lovely vintage Cartier of New York silver gilt and enamel cigarette case from the 1930s. The black enamel is signed in red Urushi lacquer by a Japanese artist and the inside is marked 'Cartier, New York' with the initials GD. It is a top quality case with a good strong feel and it has retained its gilt finish all around the case. It is in excellent condition with no dings or dents and no loss of enamel. It measures 90mm (3.5") x 78mm (3") x 11mm deep.
