Cometic 81.5MM MLS Head Gasket .040" Thickness Part # C4232-040 Application: Civic /CRX /Integra GSR B16A B18C VTEC Cometic multi-layer steel (MLS) head gaskets are comprised of three layers of stainless steel. Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, it's ability to rebound, and improved corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton rubber to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Cometic's Viton coating is heat resistant to 250°C or 482°F. By design the MLS gasket promotes an even torque across the sealing surface allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion.

  1. Good buy on a Holley Brawler Carburetor. Shipping was fast & free! The carb was well packed and looked great. I won't be installing it until next Spring, so hopefully it works as good as it looks. Not that it would have helped in my case, but the "No Return" policy was a bit of a negative. I would have rated the seller higher on communication, but I had earlier asked a question about fitment, and received no reply. Had to contact Holley technical to get my answer. Still happy overall.

  3. Part was exactly as listed. Amazons shipping on the other hand was horrible, my part sat at hubs and took 14 days to get here. Updated my arrival time twice and couldn't make either one of those dates. Have dealt with the seller before and bought parts previously, but Amazon delivery needs to be better.
