This is a white border era unposted vintage postcard featuring a scenic view of the "Clark Grade" switchback road on the Rim of the World drive in the San Bernardino Mountains, California. As shown in the front view, the card features color tones depicting the winding mountain pass and surrounding forest landscape. The back of the postcard, shows that it is an unposted, divided-back card published by Putnam Studios (757 So. Los Angeles St., Los Angeles, Cal.) and printed using Curt Teich's "C.T. American Art" process with the production code A-82475. This historical piece of California ephemera is in excellent vintage condition with minor edge wear consistent with age, making it a fantastic addition to any postcard collection or local history display.
