The book measures 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" and is approximately 865 pages and in Very Good condition with "1.15" written at the top fore-edge corner of the front free endpaper, with the halftitle page starting, and with some gentle overall wear. There are sixteen, full-page, halftone illustrations by various artists; the illustrations are in Fine condition and blank on the reverse. The boards and spine are decorated with an Art Nouveau floral pattern; the frontispiece tissue guard is present. There is no former-owner's bookplate inside, no foxing, and no underlining.
