The Common Project Original Achilles in white. Nuff said… But seriously, when it comes to white sneakers, these Achilles are the bees knees. They’re like Adidas Stan Smiths more matured (and elevated) brother. Sleek and understated, casual and smart, these are THE sneakers that spearheaded the luxury sneaker movement. If you see someone dressed to the 9s with white sneakers on, they’re probably wearing these. They’re in good condition, there’s some scuff marks here and there (around the heels mostly). It adds a little bit of character but nothing major, and could be easily touched up by a local cobbler if you’d like. The sole has a lot of life left, these Margom soles could give rubber soled boots a run for their money in terms of durability, and there’s many examples online of people getting their Achilles resoled after many years. Unfortunately these don’t get the same love and attention as it used to, and I hate to see a good pair of kicks go unworn in me closet. These are a size 41, which correlates to a size 8 US, but honestly to me they fit like size slim 9 US. I encourage you to PLEASE CHECK YOUR SIZING online (at reddit, StyleForum etc.) cause your mileage may vary depending on your feet.
