Henry Ford Birthplace - Automotive pioneer Henry Ford (1863-1947) was born in this house originally located in Dearborn Michigan. This farmhouse was Henry Ford's first and last historic preservation project. It was the first building he ever restored (in 1919) in memory of his mother and the last building he personally brought into Greenfield Village (in 1944).
