The latest reimagining of our Original 1460 8-eye boot is a tapestry of exaggerated design elements that pays homage to our archive of subcultural silhouettes, with signatures from other well-known Doc’s boots. Built from a fusion of Greasy, Abruzzo and Smooth leathers, the toe is adorned with broguing, creeper vamp detail and a self-fabric kiltie, and the laces are secured with randomised eyelets. The boot has an elasticated inside gusset for easy wear and is tagged with a reverse-colour yellow and black heel loop - and punched with silver rivets on the heel. Material Greasy Leather is lightweight and soft, its oily coating helps to protect the leather. Use our Dubbin shoe wax to keep it looking great. Abruzzo is a smooth classic waxed aniline with subtle pull up and satin sheen finish. Smooth leather is as classic as it gets: with us from the beginning, it is famously tough and can be buffed up to a high shine or artfully scuffed up. The shoes were not the greatest value but they were in stock and sent with tracking information but never received. The tracking was not updated by the Royal Mail so you don't know where they are! This is not the Seller's fault and a refund was issued, however, the communication could have been better. They took days to respond to my request, the shoes were a birthday present so this should have been quicker in my view.
The item arrived on time and it was on new condition but... i had to pay extra to the post office to able to receive my package. I have been buying from ebay from years and this is the first time this happens. I will avoid any future purchase from royal mail. I am not leaving a negative review because i see that the seller has the same product listed with bigger price with the zero shipping cost from better companies.
