Dying Achilles Trojan War Hero in Cast Alabaster Beige Figure, bought in Greece on a friend's honeymoon - The original sculpture was made by Ernst Herter, a German Sculptor in 1884. The original sculpture is located in the Achilleion Palace in Corfu. This smaller replicaa is made from cast alabaster, a material combining natural crushed alabaster stone with resin, There is a very small chip in the back of the sculpture at the base. The 2nd to last photo shows it. The very slight chip in now affects the balance of the sculpture, Kept in a smoke-free, animal-free home
