I’d say typical wear on a well-loved book. Cover and pages have faded a tad and there’s a tiny slant to the book. This is a first edition paperback edition of Engine Summer by John Crowley A Bantam Book published in March 1980 Overall this copy is in good/okay shape. There is wear along the edges and a decent crease on the top right corner of the front cover. Other than that, no real blemishes (besides the edge wear) on the front cover except a small piece left over from an old price sticker at the bottom of the cat. This thing is well read. The spine is creased and some decent wear near the top edge of the spine. Much of the same can be said about the back cover - no major blemishes except two small tears near the top right corner toward the spine. The inside front cover has an old book store stamp, but other than that the pages are super clean. The top corner of the very first page is missing - No visible stains or rips within and the page edges look to be in great shape. The spine is sturdy and the pages intact.
