It is a lovely, understated greek key design with gold and black accents. It looks as fresh and elegant as the day it was created--I've lived in both urban and rural settings and this china lends itself to both classic and contemporary decor effortlessly. 14 dinner plates. 9 7/8ths". 9 Salad/dessert plates. 7 5/8ths" 12 bread & butter plates 16 Tea/Coffee cups 16 saucers 6 cream soup cups w/under plate 6 bullion cups w/under plate 16 berry bowls 9 dessert cups 16 large soup/pasta bowls Service: Large platter 16" x 12" Small platter. 12 x 8.5" Oval vegetable bowl. 10 x 8" Round serving bowl. 9 1/4" Covered serving dish 7" Cranberry bowl; 5 1/2" Covered butter dish. 7 1/2" 2 sugar bowls 1 creamer Overall clean, excellent condition with very minor wear as one would expect of a set of bone china more than 100 years old. I am the last man standing in storied and very old New England family. I am sorry to be parting with these treasured heirlooms but my retirement includes downsizing my home. My grandparents were married over 60 years. I hope that whomever acquires this set will have as happy a life as they enjoyed.
