I COUNTED 80 OR MORE SEEDLINGS IN THIS FLAT. THIS FLAT, QWHICH THERE ARE NOT MANY AVAILABLE, HAS TALLER TREES WITH THICKER CALIPERS. GOOD GRAFTING MATERIAL. ILL REMOVE THE PLASTIC FLAT AND SHIP THEM IN TACT. SOME DO GROW INTO THE PLACIC DRAIN HOLES AND END UP GETTING STUCK. NEW(Acer's are growing real nice. $50 each flat. tall or short no exceptions. Soil is packed in the flat, seeds are then spread evenly on the soil. Watered and grown in a controlled environment. The greenhouse does keep them under shade. The grower advertises them in a set of 100 seedlings. The seedlings all vary in size. Some are smaller than 1/16, the seedlings that most people are after are the ones larger than 1/16th. Those are ideal for grafting. CALIPER I will always just keep the really bad ones(flats) and separate them.# might have some in stock right now. calipers vary. In theory you should receive a flat withthe following, but with the grower Mark(75) advertising them as 80- 100 seedlings your results may vary. I received a couple complaints already. Reason for this explanation. 1/32th-1/16th----40-80 seedlings maybe more 1/16-1/8------35+ 1/8-3/16-----???4-10 seedlings maybe more. *I'll be adjusting the price today- 11-14-2025. I hope your package arrives well. I found a different method. HEIGHT 4-10" small seedlings 12-20" medium seedlings 24-30", 36" large seedlings **this is no longer a good estimate please, I did manage to count at least 50 tiny seedlings two times for two different orders. I didn't count the the remaining trees sorry. I try not to count the really small ones as some will probably dry. they die/dry constantly. Mark(75) grows 100Ks Acers. The flats are in their beginning stage. I did have different flats with different size calipers but the older ones ran out. Typical flats that look more dense have more little trees. The ones that look less dense have more trees with a larger caliper.

  1. The package arrived intact and the roots were wrapped n still wet. Got a few more than 25 thank you and they are now in containers overwintering in Denton Texas. They were a lot taller than I expected to but all good. Great buying experience.
