German / Austrian Pink Rose Clovers Turquoise Cobalt & Gold Lady Portrait Plate Nice antique portrait plate with relief molded border with light blue and gold along the edge, a band of cobalt blue with gold lines, a ring of clovers, and swags of pink roses. Has a portrait of a brunette lady in the center over a turquoise background with gold scrolls along the inner rim. Has an illegal mark on the reverse. Probably made in Germany or Austria. Circa 1890 to 1918. Has wear to the gilding and some spots of wear to the turquoise ground, but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. IU AX
