This rare ' 2-CD Set Version ' ( * as a 1-CD version of this set was also produced & sold in 2004 - without the Bonus Disc ! * ) includes a " Bonus Disc CD " 2-Track release featuring exceptional Live versions of both Queen Jane Approximately on 12/29/1988 and Quinn the Eskimo ( The Mighty Quinn ) on 12/30/1985. Both tracks are from the Band's Bay Area Home Turf ! in Oakland, California on two separate blistering-hot New Years Eve runs !! While also included in this set is the original GDCD version release of the 11-Track " Postcards of the Hanging " commercial release ( Disc 1 ). 13-Tracks in total from this Rare " Complete ! " 2002 Version release !! In addition, when this set was re-released in 2004, the Bonus Disc CD was also Not-Included ! So ... for all intensive Musical & Collector's purposes - this rare 2002 released " 2-CD Set " is without any question ... the set to have ! You just can't top Dylan's influence on the Grateful Dead - and you really can't deny the Dead's influence on Dylan either. Their Magical ! joining & touring together way back in '86 & '87 led to them playing each others songs live ... & constantly ! And the best part is that ' uniting ' like they did with such welcome-fanfare really pulled them all ! out of the collective Mid-1980's abyss they were feeling at the time.
