Description
This 1963 mono British import LP from the Ace of Clubs label of Decca Records (ACL 196) features performances of two of Haydn's works: Symphony No. 96 in D Major ("Miracle") and Symphony No. 97 in C Major. They are performed by The Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, conducted by Eduard van Beinum. Album notes are in English. The outer sleeve has some minor peeling of the Clarifoil clear plastic lamination along the bottom edge at center, but no actual split of the sleeve itself. There is a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear. NOTES: Album sleeves may have a small index sticker, usually in the upper right corner of the back, which was applied when the album was first purchased for this private collection.
