WELCOME! For your consideration, here is a vintage brooch that is altogether extraordinary. Set into a beautifully designed bow of silvertone pot metal are red and clear rhinestones. The back of the brooch is signed "H. POMERANTZ INC. N.Y." which, according to my research, means that this brooch was produced sometime between 1880 and 1930, when the designed dropped the use of the initial H. in its jewelry mark. Most likely this magnificent brooch dates to the 1920s. And how magnificent it is! The red rhinestones are oval-shaped; the clear are round. At various places in the brooch, graduated sizes of stones are used. All stones are faceted, prong-set and dazzling. The red stones appear to be foil-backed. There are no missing or dead stones, and it appears that all stones are original to the piece. The clasp works perfectly. This is a remarkable find for the astute collector. The brooch measures approximately 3 1/4 inches wide by about 3 inches tall. The brooch is excellent vintage condition -- remarkable for its age, and gorgeous! These pearls are exactly as they were described. They look “vintage.” I enjoy that there is no clasp. They slip over your head for a quick getaway. Shipping was fast. I especially appreciate the easy unwrapping and the convenient box in which the seller placed the pearls. Sellers shouldn’t UNDERESTIMATE the value of receiving a nicely-presented purchase in a box that’s secure yet easy to open. It makes me feel like shopping from the seller again.
