Description

A small, narrow deciduous tree with bright red growth in spring that turns maroon in summer. New growth in summer emerges bright red, contrasting with the darker, older foliage beneath. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 6' tall x 2' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5. The plants on sale are three-year-old grafts growing in one-gallon pots. The plant height: 3 feet. The plants will not be shipped to CA, OR, WA, or HI. Due to photo-sanitary regulations, plants will not be shipped to California, Oregon, Washington state, or Hawaii.
