I just have been collecting various items for the past 60 years. It is time for someone else to appreciate what I have collected. THE MAGIC BUS Jenny, the bus, use to be the way to get from Boston to New York. But she was small. With the introduction of bigger and faster buses Jenny was stored away until one day all the new buses were full and some passengers wanted to get to New York. So, Jenny was taken out of storage and then the adventure began. Well, you now have to read the book. A charming book that will enlighten the fantasies of a child. Written by Maurice Dolbier and illustrated by Tibor Gergely. Just minor age wear along the edges and spine but clear clean and colorful wonderful illustrations. Originally copyrighted in 1949 and illustrations copyrighted by Wonder Books in 1951. It is in good condition. Not perfect. After all it is old. Some wear around the edges but the pages are clear, colorful, and readable. WHAT TIME IS IT? In this day of digital watches, cell phones, etc. does anyone still use the old fashion clock to tell the time? Of course……..I DO. This little book teaches your little ones about clock time. It educates them as to how many seconds in a minute, how many minutes in an hour and more. It also provides a cute story about what Billy does at different times of the day. Now being 70 years old it does have a bit of wear. Slight ones around some of the edges. But, the pages are clear and colorful. One defect…some young one became creative with the clock on the back cover and “artistically” colored it. Check out the pictures A word about pricing. Yes, I research each item to see what the going market price is. I then attempt to make my offering price 33% to 50% less then the going market price. On some of my items I do get closer to the going market price but that is only for very special items. An opportunity to add to your collection or start a collection at a reasonable price. Purchase more than one of my items and if they are shipped in the same package and same address I will adjust the shipping cost where possible. All depends on what the USPS is charging now.
