Back: MALBIS HOTEL COURTS – On U.S. 90 – 12 Miles East of Mobile, Ala. – Beautifully landscaped grounds, large rooms – some connecting – central air conditioning and heat, running ice water, tile bath with glass enclosed tub and shower combination. The Dexter Press Production Number 9982-C dates this postcard to 1965. Research found that the hotel was abandoned for years and was demolished in the mid-2000s. The swimming pool was in the shape of the State of Alabama. Back of second postcard: MALBIS HOTEL COURTS – On U.S. 90, 12 miles East of Mobile, 30 miles from Gulf swimming and fishing. Connected with fine Restaurant and Service Station. Large Hotel Lobby with all facilities. Air-Conditioned winter and summer, running ice water and telephone in each room.
