NINE VINTAGE MID CENTURY PHOTOS OF THE MARYLAND AND PENNSYLVANIA RR: Engine 744 showing oil man and engineer. 4-4-0 Class H 1 built for B&O 1881, leased for one year from B&O to MA PA forerunner Baltimore & Lehigh in 1900. Engine 6 - built by Alco c 1901. 4-6-0 ten wheeler that appears to have operated as late as 1950. Engine 28 - one of Ma PA's best known engines, 4-6-0 built by Baldwin in 1910 (two images) Baggage car 35 - built in 1906 by Ma Pa as a baggage/mail car in 1906.
